Symptoms Of Breast Cancer

There are many symptoms of breast cancer for women to be aware of. Breast lumps, rash, discharge, puckering...the list goes on.

Some women find their symptoms of cancer by accident, others by doing their monthly breast examination. Some are found by medical professionals doing a clinical breast examination, others by thermography, ultrasound or mammogram.

Many women do not know what the signs of breast cancer are. It is my hope to help women, and men, learn about their breast health to help protect themselves from breast disease.

Swollen Lymph Nodes
Lymph node pain and swollen lymph nodes, also called lymph glands, can indicate infection or possible signs of breast cancer. Learn about lymph node location and what swollen lymph nodes may mean.

Nipple Discharge
Nipple discharge is a common problem many women seek medical advice on. It can be alarming at first, but is mainly due to possible hormonal issues and on its own, is not usually a sign of breast cancer.

Benign Breast Lumps
Many women, as I have, experience breast lumps or cysts, at some stage of their adult life, yet most of us do not understand the basic types of lumps. A lot of painful breast lumps and breast swelling can be put down to hormonal changes.

Malignant Breast Lumps
Breast lumps that are malignant, start their life as a single cell, then multiply out of control to become a malignant lump of abnormal tissue, in the breast or armpit.

Signs Of Breast Cancer And Other Symptoms Of Cancer
I know about breast lumps, nipple discharge and swollen lymph nodes, but wait, there's more? Yes, I needed to be aware of a few other general symptoms of cancer so I could be proactive in breast cancer detection.
